Landscape / Plein-air Works

Playing to the strength of nature perhaps means letting go and trusting the changes with are ever so constant and present new ways of seeing. Students are often required to revise, erase, push against their own prior assumptions and the shifting lights of the landscape in front of them. To work within the confines of a subject that is so alive often requires one to embrace limitations and be willing to abandon at once what was precious in order to redeem the whole image.
