Figure Painting Workshop (JUNE 8 - 29)

$275.00

Meeting Times: Sundays 1:30-5PM

The figurative sessions are our most popular course at JPA and have a history of filling up quickly. Each meeting we work from a live model for three hours, followed by 30 minutes of discussion about the works made during this time. The conversations involve everything from art history and philosophy to form and proportion. These meetings are a space for individuals to explore their own curiosities as artists, and discuss ideas freely with others who can offer a a range of observations and insights. While any mediums and all levels are welcomed, we do however, recommend that participants have some figure drawing experiences prior to taking this course in order to maximize their learning experience.
